The British and International Federation of Festivals for Music, Dance and Speech is saddened and shocked by the recent events in the UK that have affected all communities. This has had an impact on our members in relation to the safety of their events, and on those teachers/schools who we support in their work in delivering classes/workshops.
Safeguarding, and safety, is a priority for BIFF and all our members, and we will be working to enhance our resources to support our members to ensure they have access to the most up to date and detailed information in relation to government guidance. These will be circulated and available on the resource section of our membership pages in the near future.
If you have been affected by recent riots or the trauma of these events please contact us and we will support you in the best way possible.
We send sincere condolences to those affected by the tragic events in our dance community in Southport.
