Continuo Foundation - pictures of grantees
Heidi Fardell, BIFF music adjudicator and founder member of the period ensemble Sound Historical has been awarded the prestigious Continuo Foundation grant for their forthcoming tour 'The Bird Fancyer's Delight'. The foundation is in it's 6th round and high calibre period ensembles from across the UK put forward their proposals for consideration.
The tour is across 11 venues throughout the midlands and involves over 30 different instruments. The group talk about their music, the unusual instruments they play and the context of the music itself.
