Volunteer

The lifeblood of our festivals

Our member festivals are supported almost entirely through the hard work and dedication of their volunteer teams. From the early stages of planning the festival programme right through to tidying up at end of the event, volunteers are the lifeblood of our festivals.

I don't know how we would be able to run the festival each year without this wonderful team!

Our member festivals rely on their volunteers and many are often looking to increase their volunteer teams. Volunteering at local festival not only provides an opportunity to support the performing arts in your area, it can also be lots of fun!

Roles can be varied and involve a wide range of different skills including event planning, finance management, IT, marketing and customer service. It is also a great way to meet and work with other people who enjoy the arts as much as you do!

It was hard work but I didn't realise it would be so much fun too.
