The Chipping Norton Music Festival is held during March each year in the Oxfordshire market town of Chipping Norton. Situated near the borders of Warwickshire and Gloucestershire, the Festival has been promoting music-making in the north-east Cotswolds since 1904. One of the oldest festivals of its kind, the Festival celebrated its centenary in 2004 and the hundredth Festival in 2012.
A non-competitive festival that we consider to be "the friendly" Festival.
As well as music and speech & drama classes we will be offering a series of evening concerts that include a Folk evening, a Piano recital by Eva Maria Doroszkowska, a concert with the Ben Holder Quartet and two concerts by The Adderbury Ensemble.
We include classes for Piano, Speech & Drama, Junior and Senior Choirs, Junior and Senior Vocals, WW & Brass, Strings, Ensembles, Bands and Guitar.
Come along and see what a friendly crowd we are and enjoy performing in front of live audiences with professional adjudication.
